IEM Boom Mic Cable

- Ships in 1-2 business days
The ultimate solution for live event production comms users and gamers/streamers. This boom microphone attaches discreetly to the 2-pin over-mold of the IEM cable giving you a secure yet convenient tool for communication.
Since the cable and boom mic are detachable, you no longer need a dedicated set of custom in-ear monitors for comms. If you already own a set of 2-pin connected IEMs you’ll be able to use this mic/cable. If you’re hoping to use your IEMs without the boom mic, you simply detach the mic or replace the cables entirely.
This 48" cable comes in a beautiful soft touch black finish. It features our .75mm 2-pin connectors with a four-conductor TRRS 3.5mm audio jack. Because of this, all Boom Mics come with the Mic Cable Adapter which swaps the ground and microphone pins. This jack may not work with audio equipment that doesn’t support the TRRS connector.
This cable is compatible with all 2-pin 64 Audio in-ear monitors, including our A-Series, U-Series, and legacy V-Series IEMs. Also compatible with any brand IEMs using .75mm 2-pin sockets.
Refer to the Pin-Out diagram on this page when determining how to build or buy adapters.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will this work with my _____ comms system?
A: We specifically designed this boom mic to be terminated in the same way our “in-line” mic cable is with a 3.5mm TRRS jack. It will be up to you to make sure you have the correct adapters to make this work with your system. Refer to the Pin-Out diagram on this page when making those sorts of determinations or building/buying adapters.
Q: Since this is a 4-pin termination, does the mic share a ground with one of the sides and does that cause cross-talk.
A: Yes the right IEM and the boom mic share a ground which can result in minor crosstalk between the two.
